Trina Sotira'sIn Her Skin: Growing Up Trans  made international reading lists for books on transgender teens. She teaches Creative Writing and Composition courses at College of DuPage. With Michelle Duster, Sotira edited and contributed to Shifts: An Anthology of Women's Growth Through Change, a 2015 USA Best Book Award Finalist and 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Award Finalist for Women's Issues.
